Meet Liam Hayes:
How would you describe your leadership style? I would say it is a combination of authoritative and coaching.
Describe your perfect weekend day: Exploring the country with our jeeps and our dog Bella.
What's your favorite part of your job? I love learning new technologies and new ways to use existing technologies. I love solving technical challenges with unique solutions.
What is your favorite part of Entelligence and why? Liift is one of my favorite Entelligence initiatives. I volunteer frequently in my community and state. My wife and I are currently working to bring internet connectivity to the most remote towns in the lower 48 states. We recently spent a week meeting the towns people and scoping out the project.
Tell us about your family: I have a large family of 5 children and 2 god daughters. We also have an 8 year old Golden Lab Bella. Our family is spread across the country from Connecticut to Oregon. I am a 7th generation Nevadan and my family came to the west in the 1860’s. My great grandfather was actually the first settler born in the Dakota territories.
What inspires you? I am inspired by the good I see in people. I know it is easy to focus on the bad in the world today. It is all over the news. But there are lots of stories about good in the world. You just need to turn away from the bad news for a bit and seek the good news to find inspiration. It is out there, maybe it’s a little harder to find but it is well worth it.
How do you recharge outside of work? I get close to nature. I also hunt, fish, 4 Wheel and explore old ghost towns and mines.
Thank you Liam for your dedication to Entelligence!
